THE MILLENNIUM BAILLIAGE
As the first Bailliage created in the new millennium, Bailliage de Bonita has grown significantly since its inception in January, 2000. Through active recruitment, member referrals, and an enticing calendar of events, the Bailliage de Bonita has rapidly become one of the largest and most active Bailliages in the United States.
THE SEASON'S PROGRAM
In the upcoming year, the ninety-four active Bailliage members are anticipating a full slate of dining and social events. Relying on the expertise of our six member Board, an innovative cocktail of outstanding venues and dining excellence has been established. A Croquet Match featuring South African cuisine and wines, a Lobster Bake on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico and a Bocce Tournament with authentic Italian fare, highlight but a few of the wonderful events of the season. Addressing the demand for wine appreciation and education, the Bailliage is providing a hop-scotching of the globe through a series of wine tastings presented by the L'Ordre Mondial as well as continuing the successful Kevin Zraly Wine Education Course. Finally, the Bailliage is pleased to continue its commitment to providing high quality cuisine in the most elegant of settings.
SUMMER PLANS
Continuing the tradition of meeting in the off-season, the Bailliage will once again be treated to the treasures of local restaurants in its highly successful dine around program. Always welcomed, the Bailliage members are able to experience the area's outstanding cuisine and attention to service not often available in the busy winter months.
PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
Important among the plans for the future is the expansion of the newly established L'Ordre Mondial group. A continuation of the Kevin Zraly "Windows on the World" wine course is of high priority to all members. Of course, the Bailliage's highest priority will always be to provide the finest wine and dining experiences to our members.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the Bailliage is open, therefore interested individuals should feel free to contact any of the Officers or their friends who may already be a member and attend any available function on a space available basis.
