Induction Dinner [Return]
Once a year each Baillage (i.e., Chapter) holds a meeting, where new members are inducted, followed by a gala celebration and a dinner based on a novel theme. The menu, preparation, wine list and service at this event always are exciting and often are the best to be experienced among our events. The Baltimore Baillage typically holds its Induction Dinner in November.

Société Mondial events are, as a rule, less formal than are those of the Chaîne and, as often as not, the primary focus of a Mondial event is the wine, with food playing an important but, nonetheless, supporting role.
Société Mondiale
Originally founded in 1963 as l'Ordre Mondial Gourmets Dégustateurs under the patronage of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, it's name was changed in 2005 to Société Mondiale du Vin. Members of the Société Mondial are members of the Chaîne as well. Interests of Société Mondiale emphasize an appreciation of the wine and spirited beverages that accompany meals, as well as the professionals who sell and serve them.
