About a dozen years ago, Maitre Rotisseur James Weaver, our Vice Conseiller Culinaire, presented his first “Upside Down Dinner” for our bailliage. That dinner quickly became part of Hunterdon-Princeton legend. On Saturday evening May 15, Weaver will once create a topsy-turvy dinner so we can all enjoy his legendary culinary triumph. This is an evening not to be missed. Weaver begins with dessert, a selection of house made pastries and sweet local treasures, and ends with assorted butler-passed hors d’oeuvres. Like Alice’s Wonderland, nothing is really what it seems. Weaver’s presentations will send your eyes and taste buds on an exciting ride. “The experience heightens all your senses and compels you to focus fully on what you’re eating,” Weaver says. Each plate holds a delicious surprise. You might lose track of what course you’re eating, but you will never forget this dinner!
