Julie Honda Chargee de Presse Provincial Honolulu - Bronze 2000 Julie Honda was an executive committee member involved in promoting the assemblage. All Hawaiian traditions and related activities were her responsibility. She was the personal tour director for the Chaine post tour of 40 members and spouses who visited Kauai, Big Island and Maui. She arranged with Aloha Air for the airport photo shoot at Keahole Airport in Kona. This was the first cover picture of the Hawaii/Pacific region for Chaine's official magazine, Gastronome. In 2006 she was awarded the Presidents Award by Bailli Delegue Joe Caruso for service as Chargee de Presse Provinciale. She is one of four members (first woman) to receive this honor. In 2006 she also receives the Silver Star of Excellence. In 2007 Julie was presented the award Conseil dHonneur serving with distinction as a senior officer of the region.
