For those who enjoy the camaraderie and pleasures of the table, the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs provides ample opportunity on a local, regional, national, and international level. We're proud of roots that take us back to the founding, in France, of the Guild of Oyers, or "Goose Roasters," in 1248. Today, more than 80,000 members in 110 national bailliages ("bailiwicks") around the world celebrate the Chaîne experience.
The Bailliage du Minneapolis organizes four to six events each year in fine restaurants throughout the area. Themed events, black-tie galas and less formal meals, picnics, and barbecues provide a range of pleasurable tables. The local Chapter has also been very active in supporting the Young Chef Rôtisseur Competitions as a way of developing future chefs by giving them the opportunity to test and demonstrate their skills.
On a regional and national level, members may join culinary travel adventures, attend conventions and share the activities of bailliages elsewhere in the country. And, in thousands of Chaîne associated restaurants and hotels, both at home and abroad, members are welcomed as friends and recognized as diners who will appreciate the best efforts of that member establishment and its staff.
