As activity in the kitchen heats up, Kitchen Judges Ai Chef John Cappellucci and Mystic Lake Chef Rôtisseur Richard Fisher survey the action.
In a separate room, Professional Judges:
Chef Rôtisseur John Thompson,
Chef Rôtisseur Paul Lynch and
Chef Rôtisseur William Niemer, with event coordinator and Vice Chargée de
Missions Amanda Bové Sill looking on, evaluate the results.
And in another room, the Gastronome Judges:

Margaret Leto, and
Maître Rôtisseur Traiteur Yvonne Moody await the arrival
of the next dish.
At the conclusion of the competition, the contestants were asked to stand and face a firing squad of judges armed with instructive suggestions and comments.
Bang! Chef John Thompson delivers his opening salvo.
Kidding aside, the Judges began by complimenting each contestant on his or her courage in stepping into the fray. By participating, each was a winner, win or lose.
The Judges then offered a review and critique both of work that impressed them and of techniques that could be improved.
