Welcome
to the Bailliage de Sacramento (Sacramento Chapter) web site. The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is
the oldest, largest and most prestigious International Society
of Gastronomes founded in 1248 by the King of France, Louis IX.
It is devoted to promoting fine dining as well as preserving the camaraderie
and pleasures of the table. It has members in more than 100
countries. In the U.S.A., there are more than 7,000 members in
nearly 150 bailliages or chapters across the country. The
Sacramento Bailliage has approximately 40 members who partake in local
fine and casual dining events. Each year we have about four or
five events. One is usually in the wine country, one celebrates
Bastille Day (close to the July 14th weekend) and one, in the fall, is
our annual Induction Dinner.
We have already planned an
exciting 2009 calendar of events - click here for
2009 schedule.
